Ensuring you are well-rested before driving a big rig is crucial for your safety and the safety of others. Ready Logistics emphasizes the importance of taking breaks during travel not only for our employees, but also for our drivers. Before starting your journey, go through the checklist to ensure nothing is bent, broken, or cracked. Taking a few minutes each morning to inspect your truck can make a significant difference. Additionally, whenever you stop for a restroom break, take a quick walk around your vehicle to check for anything loose or dangling. These simple measures are vital for maintaining safety on the road.

Be aware of weather conditions

Being prepared for weather-related delays is essential for ensuring timely deliveries. Always inform your regional representative about any delays and update them on your pickup locations. While our deliveries are important, your safety is our top priority.

Get proper sleep

Make sure you get the recommended 7–9 hours of sleep the night before your trip, as you have many responsibilities and need to be aware of your surroundings, especially with inclement weather and traffic. Take your time and relax; the deliveries will reach their destination on time. While earning a living is important to support our families, your safety and well-being are paramount. Your families and loved ones would agree that being well-rested and coming home safe are the most important things.

If you are a registered carrier in RMIS, please ensure your agent sends all insurance certificates to rmishelp@truckstop.com and CC transportation@truckstop.com

Once the certificate is sent, please allow up to 48 business hours for processing. Please note that Carrier Experience no longer processes documents. For any rush requests, have your agent send the documents to transrushcerts@truckstop.com

  • Central Dispatch Mobile App must be used.
  • Vehicles with damage that can be seen from 3 feet away or exceeding 1 inch should not be moved. Alert the Ready Logistics team immediately.
  • Vehicles must be moved with 2 keys.
  • Vehicles with missing or loose items should not be transported.
  • Additional requirements: Ready Logistics New Car Checklist and Acknowledgement Form

CarMax Note

Central Dispatch Mobile App is required, and signatures must be obtained from originating dealer and destination dealer. No exceptions.
