Coronavirus Precautionary Measures

Dear Carrier Partners,

As we continue to work through issues related to the coronavirus, we want you know Cox has made monitoring this situation a top priority. We’re following the latest information from the CDC 0.1% and government officials and taking steps to ensure workplace safety and business continuity.

We recognize that this virus may present unique risks to your drivers who are constantly on the road and interacting daily with several people across the country. The best way to prevent infection with any respiratory virus is to adopt the same preventative strategies used during cold and flu season: Wash your hands regularly with soap and water, stay home if you are sick and stay away from others who are; and avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.

We’re advising our employees who feel unwell to take common-sense actions to limit the spread of sickness. In addition, we’re asking employees who may have been exposed to the coronavirus, or who have traveled personally or have close contact with someone who has traveled to one of the CDC’s Level-3 countries 0.7%, to please quarantine at home for the CDC’s suggested 14-day period.

Additionally, as the safety of our employees, partners, and clients is our primary concern, please keep the following safety practices in mind while on a Manheim property:

  • Obey directions from location personnel
  • Follow posted speed limits
  • Stop at all stop signs
  • Stay in the designated traffic lanes

Thank you for your partnership!
